W O W ! !
Super fun Mini Vacat! We started off going to Santa Cruz, CA.
But In route I decided that I had to take this opportunity to show the girls where I mostly grew up. I cannot believe it but I passed the house. I drove right by it. In the last 8 years the New owners cut down a 100 year old Eucalyptus tree. They left up a rusty OLD flag pole!!!! but cut down the beautiful tree! Go figure!!
Again while I was in town, I took Alison and Paige to see "Touch-Down Jesus!!"
While we were finishing up up walks Dana and Mauricio!!!! blown away to see such an old friend! OK sorry now old like in OLD.... You know what I mean!!
What a treat! They both look Great! What a beautiful family that they have going on.
Then Off to Santa Cruz. OH MY GOODNESS! Alison Loves the beach . She did not want to get out of the waves! She is hooked! Who cares about the Boardwalk, did not even care about the Gift Shop!!! All that she wanted was the waves!
Paige however, not so much..... she enjoyed the waves but " it smells!!!!" was her biggest complaint. Wah!
And I got to spend lots of time at my favorite beach! Right near the marina. It is by far my favorite sunset location.
Then off to San Francisco We went. Stopped to get gas in Cupertino. OH gosh
It totally blows my mind that So much has changed and yet soooooo much it totally the same!! Some of the shops that I was so sure would have been closed by now are still there and yet others are gone! I realize that it has been like 15 years since I really have spent time there but WOW! It was just weird.
The girls loved San Francisco! I think that there favorite was china town! Seriously It is like the best dollar store in the world! Next time I think that I will have to reserve the entire day there. We did not get to go to any of the food places at all.... boo hoo. I admit it I was super SUPER bummed! But the girls had fun!That is all that matters! Alison got lots of little treasures,coins,meditation balls.
Paige got a Chinese dress, shoes, fan.
So much fun!
This may sound totally stupid but My favorite part..... Was watching Alison and Paige have a super fun time, and knowing I did it all by my self. That they were happy, and when you ask them about there favorite thing? they keep changing what it was... basically it was everything!! Aaahhhh what a treat!
