Daycare called today to say that Ali-bean had a 102 temp! ugh!!!
Just when I thought that it might be over!

Me? well My throat hurts, my ankle still hurts, I am achy, and sleepy as well

The Lord DEFINATLY has a sense of humor!
Saturday April 25th was the Walk of Dimes 6 mile walk.
I go, and Finally find parking, hunt for coins in the car for parking-cause I lost my Credit Card! I go back to the car and at the capitol they have these big sloping curbs. I go to step off the curb, but it is a slope..... You might see where I am going with this. I steped, hit the slope, and CRASH ! Down I go!
I was so embarrassed! I jumped right up and looked around. I did not see anyone. OH yeah I planned that!
SO, I thought that Maybe it was just sore. Maybe I could just stretch it out and it would be fine. So I walked down to register and turn in my donations.
It was at this point that I realized that I could not do the walk. I was in some major pain. Oh in case you are wondering , these are the colors of my ankle.
so pretty!
It is true Lizzy style to trip and get hurt right before the walk. So I came home and found my big boot so that I could go to work.

I may have been hurt. But I got the best compliment! With all the weight that I have lost, people have been taking some notice. Tammy Cooper (my GM)
walked up and said " I am sorry that you got hurt, but You sure are looking good."
Works for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Booger Central!!!!

Oh my GOODNESS! Paige is still sick!
She still has a low grade fever! ugh!
Luckily Mom will finally take her for the next couple days. Yeah!!!!
Looks like I will finally be able to go back to work.
I cannot believe that I am actually thinking that! I mean it is not like that
I have been on vacation. There has been no rest her. You would not even believe
how many tissues that we have gone thre. Lets see, Paige has gone thru 2 rolls of toilet paper! and 1 complete box of tissues. You should see my house. Lets just call it Booger Central!

Sickness

OH my Goodness!
What Crazyness. Alison has Pink Eye!!! and Paige is sitting here with a fever that just will not break under 100. Mom didn't even want to take them!! That is pretty sick!
Oh this was a supper fun day! I almost wish that I was able to go to work. I am just praying that they are all better by monday! OH Please be better by Monday.

Customer Service.....Crap

Do you ever wonder about people in Customer service positions?
Recently I have. I use to think that it was a totally trainable position. That it was a learnable thing.
I am finding out more and more everyday that that is not true.
You know you can go someplace or call some 800 # to get ... what's that word? OH! I know its HELP! What do you get. I would like to think that about 50 % of the time (probably more like 75%) you get some person that is following policy and proceedure, sometimes they are even just reading a script!! Now sometimes you even get someone that SOUNDS like they care. They have the right Tones in there voice, but it just seems that if it is not on there Troubleshooting list, they cannot think outside of a box. Have you ever found that ???
I have, and I am currently dealing with it right at my own work. UGH! I just don't get it.
There are ,apparently, little know tricks to Customer Service. I would still like to think that it is a learnable trait. However right now I honestly do not know for sure.
Trait #1) Listen to the guests. I know that that sounds SO simple. But really that is all it takes sometime. Your guest is frustrated and just wants to make sure that you under stand and ....
(this leads me to #2)
2) learn the word Sorry. Say it often.True most of the time I really do not mean it. I could care less. But I do honor the fact that they are having a hard time and if I am not sorry and fix the problem. They will shop elsewhere and I will not have a job! Pretty simple Huh? Learn to make it sound like you MEAN IT. even if you could care less! (I got really good at it when I had kids. " Oh I'm sorry you got hurt" 'Im sorry you did not get a candy"
3)Learn the rules of your work. But realize that it is just a box, and there is a whole world outside of that box that is excessable.
4) Dont Judge!!!! Just remember Guests are calling cause they do NOT know what to do!!!
They Need help and you can Make there day!!!! BE the HERO!!!!!! not the villian.

Honestly I think that is really it. 4 things . That is it!!!
I do not understand Why any of that is sooo hard. Yet everyday I hear condisending tones in
other employee's. Comments like...'Why should we help them, They bought it over 1 year ago!!!'

We should Listen to see if either we can help them at the store..... or extended warrenty,
but for the last comment, that guest had the extended warranty. Why not be the hero.
Why be the pain in the customers butt???
Well, this was my frustration today. I just needed to get it down, and out of my head!

Lazy Day's

Just a Lazy day around the house. We had an inpromptu Playdate. The girls had made all of the plans, and just kinda let me know about it on Friday.
I woke up this morning to Alison's friend calling to find out what time we were coming over.
I did not know what to do with myself!
Decied that my shirts do not fit anymore. I have this one black and grey shirt that last time I wore it ..................... I was constantly adjusting it , cause it was falling off. Now that I realized that I can get a shirt or two at TARGET of all places. Well I am hooked on shopping.
OH yeah I am also realizing That this may not be a good thing. I am hooked on clothes.
Actually that is not entirely true. I like the consept that I will able to buy clothes that I really like .... That are the style that I want to wear. Not just what would fit ok.
My world is shifting because of the weight loss. YEAH BABY!!
ANYway, So I shopped and then got snacks for the girls for school...
I should have come home to clean up and vaccume or something . But I just vegged out!

God Save the Car!!!

YEAH!
Thank God the car is going to be OK!!!
Not only was the ignition switch broken, apparently there
were some small plasticy parts that broke off and fell down the
shaft, and were causing problems. ! ugh!
So unfortunatly it was mostly just labor intensive.

Thankfully God sent me his personall Helpers,
otherwise know as Biddy and Pop!
Mom let me borrow her car so that I could get the Girls to
school and of course me to work.
(note to self, when I win the Lottery millions, I am going to buy
one of these Toyota's ! So nice!!!!
Well I guess I will be able to get my Taurus back tomorrow.
All healed and everything!

Another Day Another Pound

April 8 2008
Gosh only 1 Lb today... bummer. OH Well, At least I am still going down right?
We are at 71 pounds!!
OH but get this ! Went to re-certify for PCOE then to Paige's school to help out.
Then after school.... I go to start the car and NOTHING! It starts to roll over. but then the
ignition switch breaks! At least I hope that is what it is!!!!!!!
Any way the power was on ( not the engine!) but well that was the problem!
no power to the engine!!!!!!
Well Thank Gosh Mom and Dad were around to help me out!
Had to tow the car to shop !
So as of right now No Lizzy Car! waahhhh !
( actually it is pretty good , I have had this car for almost 2 years and this is the first thing that has really happened to it !)
We shall see tomorrow- hopefully it can get fixed right away.

A TOTALLY New experiance

OH WOW! 4-5-08

OK I had a totally strange and wonderfully weird experiance the other day. I went to Target and for some reason went to look at womens clothes. I can hardly still believe it. I found a shirt, THAT FIT!!!!!

I have not been able to find a piece of clothing from a retail store in like a Zillion years!

OH and I think that It is Totally Cute! I was completly shocked.

I know that other people have comented on how I look, But I just do not see it yet. I know the number. I am Proud of the number. OH Incase I havent bored you with that yet ....... I have lost (so far to date,) 70.8 Lbs! I know!!!

I can hardly believe it sometimes! Look at me go go go !

Weight Watchers Rocks!!

Even though I know that I have a ton of weight to go. I am going to stay happy no matter what weight I am in.

I know that I would not have been able to do any of this with out a ton of support and of course- God. With out Him I can do nothing!

Well that is my new experiance.

I liked it----------- LOTS!
